Devotional for July 24, 2006
"take time to be Holy, speak oft with thy Lord"

today has been a day of prayer.  Not asking, just waiting on God.  I have had great need for divine guidance.  I have nothing to  say except "Have thine own way Lord."  I have found the time of silence extremely comforting.  Today, I can only thank those many persons who have jointed us in prayer these past harrowing days.  Now, I want to remain open to the quiet voice of "Holy Healing"  It is not in our will that we find consolation, but in trust of those whose wisdom is making the kinds of decisions which will make the best possible future for the life of Caleb, my grandson.  I trust their wisdom, and in this moment I wait for that wisdom to function.  In the meantime, I can only lift my silent heart to God and trust inDivine guidance.
