Devotional for July 29, 2006
Today, we are rejoicing in that our grandson, Caleb is "alert" for the first time this week.  He is still not "out of the woods", but at least there is a conscious response on his part.  We are so grateful for the prayer and support you have all given, slong with others who have responded to the requeest for prayer.
In every moment we have been conscious of little "signs of life" where he has lifted a finger or some other tiny apparop;riate resp;onse.  We have never given up hope, never faltered in faith, and now are lookg toward healing.
It is still a long journey, but we are courageous.  Thank you for your support.  Mel and Gloria
